This weekend was the big day, and I had so much fun being a part of it. I got some of my favorite wedding photos I have ever taken this weekend.

A Worldly Wedding.
I don't mean that Anneliese + Marc are worldly people, but that their wedding was so multi-cultural. Marc is originally from Spain, but Anneliese and him will be moving to Turkey. So this wedding had influences from Spain, Turkey and Arizona.

Make like a tree.
I have always loved trees. I love drawing them, painting them and photographing them. Since I have been on a slight blog hiatus, due to Photo Class II just starting up again, I thought I could post some tree photos from the last few years.

good ol' black & white
Back to the basics with black and white folks. This assignment ends our first semester of photo class. Don't fret. Class II begins in January. I will be taking some photos of the Christmas landscapes I will be venturing to in the next month: Minneapolis, Brainerd & St Louis!
He was definitely joking, but I took the photo anyway.

Move it.
Our last photo class assignment was to show "Movement" in a photo. I had a lot of fun with this one, and some of my favorite photos were taken!

Created.
Psalm 8
A psalm of David.
1 O LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
above the heavens.
2 From the lips of children and infants
you have ordained praise
because of your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You made him ruler over the works of your hands;
you put everything under his feet:
7 all flocks and herds,
and the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the air,
and the fish of the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

First Weekend in Flagstaff...
I think this weekend will be the first weekend since the semester started where I am not going anywhere outside the city. I have had some amazing adventures; Tucson, Phoenix, Heber, The Grand Canyon, Disneyland... but I am ready to have a lazy Saturday morning.
This week was full of fun.
Tuesday night I had a successful chocolate fondue party. It was really great to see some people I don't get to hang out with very often.
Wednesday was a big day for me. My friend Jade and I got together for our first band practice. We actually wrote 3/4 of a song and attempted to cover an Ingrid Michaelson favorite. For a first musical practice of anything for us, it was amazing.
Then my friend Alissa decided to go from blonde to brunette. We all know how I feel about that-obsessed. I was the lucky one to help her out.
Britney Spears in toxic? That's what she kept saying when it looked black for 4 minutes.
So this weekend in Flag, is going to be:
-Coffee with Steph Barber
-Photography Class
-Pumpkin Carving
-Movie #1. Where the Wild Things Are
-Movie #2. StepFather (I don't want to see this, but it's a sacrifice for you know who.)
-A large chunk of time alone.
-Sleepover with some ladies I don't see very often
-Church?
