Below is another experiment with watercolor.  

I know that peacocks are like really cool right now, but maybe that's because they're just really cool.  

This is what we do.

I've been experimenting with watercolor lately.  

As spring nears I am filled with so much hope for the future.

The last couple years, I have been on a pretty long art hiatus.
Well that time is over and art is back in my life.

One of my newest ventures is illustrating Psalms.

I have a good friend I haven't seen in a few years and I am on my way to New York City tomorrow... where he happens to live.  His birthday was in April, and I wanted to give him a little gift when I see him.  He is in fashion design school and lives in the big city.  So that was my inspiration for this:

Down to Business

One of my Spring Break goals was to start a shop on the oh-so creative website, Etsy.

In other news... I am trying to get in this cool house for next year and my (hopefully) future roommates want to have me over for dinner.  Today while I was painting, I decided to make them a piece of art to bring over.

Art Major

Though I love photography, obviously, I did major in studio Art in college.  I thought I would take some time to share some things I have done in the past as well as a couple things recently.  Just to warn you, I have had a slight obsession with animals the past 5 years of my life.

I really started to fall in love with drawing in college.

I got a little more comfortable with painting as time went on.

These are actually on two canvases, but to be displayed together.

 

 I think in the end, I found my niche in collage work.
