I have a good friend I haven't seen in a few years and I am on my way to New York City tomorrow... where he happens to live.  His birthday was in April, and I wanted to give him a little gift when I see him.  He is in fashion design school and lives in the big city.  So that was my inspiration for this:

One of my best friends is getting married in September, and have been working on her wedding invitations.  This is the first wedding invitation I have ever designed, and it's so much harder than I thought it would be!  Maria and John are a traditional and classy couple.  They wanted a Coptic influence, so here's the two ideas I came up with:
