I have been back in Minnesota for a week or so, and there is no place better to find Antiques than the Midwest. My mom and I went out yesterday and I found some really great stuff.
Here are some of the things I spotted:
And some of the things I got to incorporate in my new room/house!
An old embroidered peacock on a table runner, I might try and turn it into a pillow.
Some beautiful pillowcases
Some linen napkins.
A mirror that was displayed as a catch-all.
And a birdcage! I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet, but it's so great.
I found a ring too!

Isn't that always the problem? I have decided I need to start leaving space for souvenirs when I pack. It's a dangerous game! I love those pillowcases though. :)
